Case presentation: A multi-disciplinary systemic approach to caring for the complex patient with serious mental illness during chemotherapy (including tips for safely managing psychotropics and steroid therapy) (#106)

In this case-based presentation and panel discussion we will be presenting a composite case of a young male father with premorbid mental health issues and significant co-occurring psychosocial stressors for partner and family, who developed high risk behavioural disturbance in the context of primary brain tumour (GBM) treatment.  The case will include a systemic approach from diagnosis, through surgical management, chemo / radiotherapy and into the palliative phase and end of life care.
