Anne King
Anne King is a cancer nurse with 30 years of nursing experience and has worked in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. She is an expert clinician who recognises the importance of ongoing professional development having obtained a post grade certificate in cancer nursing in 2011 and masters in oncology nursing in 2013.
Anne is currently the neuro-oncology cancer nurse coordinator working with the Western Australian cancer nurse coordination service, a position she has held for the last 7 years. Her role provides a state wide service for patients with primary malignant brain tumours, and their families and also health care providers sourcing assistance on care and management of patients.
As a valuable member of the multidisciplinary team she is actively involved with the development of policy and research projects to evaluate patient care, identify any gaps in service, and to influence quality and outcomes for cancer patients.
